“Pumping and Hydraulics’ Solutions for Irrigation and Water Supply”
Advanced Pumping and Hydraulics (APH)
The Advanced Pumping & Hydraulics course highlights energy efficiency application to existing pumps and pipeline design, potentially saving $$ on your existing operating costs.

With a very strong "pumping" element, the APH course “empowers” participants to optimise water and energy efficiency in pumping and irrigation systems. Free design software for participants.

Suited to irrigation designers, managers, operators and contractors, especially those planning irrigation system upgrades.

"Advanced Pumping & Hydraulics" course is presented online (GoToMeeting) to connect with people who are Internationally based, live remotely or have ongoing work commitments.

The course also allows information reflection and reinforcement by way of online tutorials between sessions.

The course is hosted Online through River Murray Training (R-M-T), which is an Australian Registered Training Organisation.
"Advanced Pumping & Hydraulics" is presented Online direct from Tallemenco's office, where presenter Rob Welke  has an extensive resource library on hand to support online content.       Photo: Sandy Welke

Energy for Irrigation

Pipelines

Pumping & Filtration
Week 1

Wks 2&3

Wks 4,5,6
Targets Irrigation Managers and Operators, empowering them to identify areas of pumping and pipeline in-efficiencies in their own irrigation systems, and to take remedial action to restore energy efficiency and SAVE MONEY!

Assists Irrigation Designers with more technical aspects of pump selection, filter selection   and pipeline design, to incorporate pumping and pipeline best practice into complete irrigation system designs.

Emphasises those areas of pumping and pipeline operation which specifically impacts on energy efficiencies, and therefore operating costs.

Highly valued by managers who are considering upgrading an irrigation system.

Applicable to golf courses, race courses, nurseries, playing filelds and large scale landscape.

Applicable to Agricultural irrigation requiring constant residual pressure, eg Centre Pivots, Lateral Moves, Boom Sprays, but also to low lift pumps to channels, etc.

6 week x 2hrs/week course

All original material, developed by Tallemenco over 3 years and 800 hours.
